| Bought this with the John Woo's Strangle Hold for $44 less than CPU alone. Even if you don't game, save the money and you got a free coaster!
Running great at about 45C., programs load in a snap and virus scan is blazing fast. With EVGA 8800 GT 512 PCI-E 2.0, asus M3A, 4G Centon(2X2G) DDR2-800 playing COD4 on high settings is smooth with incredible detail and colour. Blows athlon 3800, 7950 GT OC 512, and 4G DDR-400 out of the water. |

| Using this in an MSI K9A2-CF with four gigs of Corsair 800mhz and a radeon x1550. Couldnt figure out why I was getting seemingly random lock ups in vista 32, and always would lock up when benchmarking. I had to *underclock* the third core (core 2)to 1900mhz to get full stability out of this chip and viola, no more lockups... Even though it doesnt perform as well as a C2Q6600 its a good first attempt for AMD at a quad core. Good value quad for the price, thanks Tiger! |

| set up on asus wifi deluxe,2gigs ocz 1066mhz,ati3870.runs great so far.the memory problem can be fixed by oc'ing.increasing the fsb.i got my memory to run at 534 by tweaking the voltage and timings.set voltage to 2.0v and timings to 5-5-5-15.i found instructions on how to do it on the memory manufacturers website.great system been playing U3 at max setings for hoursnon stop.the phenom never goes over 45c!(wish i could say the same about the graphics card) |

| Blisteringly quick, and runs at 45 degrees max load with stock fan. BUT without o/c forces memory clock to run at 333MHz...so wasting some performance on your 6400ddr. better to pay a little extra and get the Phenom 9600 i think... more experienced builders might be able to get around this but i dont know. (put it this way vista installed in 20 mins!) |
