| This is the best processor for your money. G0 Stepping, high temperature durability and therefore is easily over-clockable [if required]. People may tell you that it's performance is equal to core 2 duo, that's only because most software don't effectively use core-processor technology yet. So that only means your investing in something that's future-proof. As a noob overclocker I got it to go to 3.6 Ghz, but without proper cooling I reset it back. I'll step-up when necessary, 2.4 Ghz is more than required for me now. |

| Well 120 reviews cant be wrong, Could not wait any longer for the QX9650 quad core @389.00 so I got the cpu I was originaly plannning on getting,SOme specs my system is a Asus Maximus Formula,2gigs Corsair XMS2 800mhzram,2 dual raptors,Asus x3850x2 GPU,Coding a AVI or Divx movie 765mb to DVD 20-25 minutes.3dmark06 16400,Boot time 30 seconds.Old system SocketA 2800xp man I was happy I waited I like the speed difference & now i'll LIVE LONGER from the time I save. No Brainer here guys as all these other well informed buyers know IT's INSANE as Logan would say, But Man Hes right ITS INSANE Go make your purchase before OEM 6600 is no more.Ps cooler is a Zalmen 9700 led & cpu o/c to 3.0ghz temps 33c idle and 40-45c full Load what a bargain |

| Purchased this a week ago with EVGA 680i A1 Mobo...oc'd to 3.0Ghz without even raising voltage.Runs fast and stable...would recommend to anyone on a budget. |

| All I can say is wow. I am running vista, and it has ZERO lag! This is the CPU for vista. You cant go wrong!!! I OverClocked to 3.5 on air, completely stable. I would buy another in a heartbeat! |
