- Intel® Wide Dynamic Execution
Dynamic execution is a combination of techniques (data flow analysis, speculative
execution, out of order execution, and super scalar) that Intel first implemented
in the P6 microarchitecture used in the Pentium® Pro processor, Pentium®

Intel® Intelligent Power Capability is a set of capabilities designed

| I was hesitant to pick up this CPU, thinking that it couldn't possibly make that much of a difference from my 3.4 GHz Pentium D. I am completely dumbfounded by how much faster my machine is with this processor. My power consumption is down, and it overclocks like a champ (40% OC, with NO heating or stability issues!). This CPU is a steal for under $250. |

| Stunningly fast at a good price point as of this writing. About twice as fast as the Pentium D 805, another value chip at its price point. I'm running the E6600 in an Intel DQ965GFE motherboard for a fast, stable, stock system that can utilize the full 1066 MHz FSB speed. The CPU is about 2/3 the power dissipation of the PD 805, resulting in a quiet box. CPU temps are 37 degrees C or less. Coupled with an XFX Nvidia 8600 GT graphics card, this chip and mobo is capable of very heavy-duty scientific molecular graphics. |

| VERY Fast CPU. Doesn't even compare to any cpu's I've ever purchased. Good overclocker too, It's at 3.2GHz right now and everything is running perfectly. HIGHLY reccomend this to gamers out there ! This cpu wont bottleneck your high end gpu's (8800/2900). INSTALL TIP: When you're applying the thermal paste, make sure to put a thin line, spread it, and make sure the whole cpu is covered with a nice thin layer ) |

| Nice CPU! OC'ed to 3 GHz on stock cooling, and it never runs much aboove 31C. Using Nvidea chipset, it is very fast and stable. Couldn't get it above 3GHz, but then I didn't try very hard, just set the FSB to 1333 and off it went. Recommended. |
