The batteries appear to be high quality and will hold a good charge when charged with something other than the Ultra charger. I intend to send it back and buy just the batteries.

I have nothing to say other than: ''If you are looking for rechargeable batteries get these!'' I have quite a few vampire electronics and these batteries really go the distance. The charger is somewhat a little slow but what do you expect for 20 bucks? The average time it takes to recharge (after 12 hr. initial charge) is about 45 minutes and they are ready to go again as strong as the first charge. I have yet to see any ''shortness'' in use time. These batteries when used like the directions say will give a good strong power source and even on the last charge they still last longer than ''new alkaline batteries''.... BTW, I bought mine a year ago and still have yet to replace them. Also I use these relentlessly and all I have done is buy more.

I have been using this unit for about 4 months now on an every other day basis. The charger takes about 1 watt of power and the batteries that come with are amazing. They are powering solar lights and last about 2 days at about 6 hours per day. For low power devices should work well.

I bought several of these packs about a year ago as they were so cheap. They are cheap. I got them to power my Canon PowerShot A620 and A630 cameras. (Good but inexpensive cameras) The batteries are near worthless in the cameras. The battery life is so short I don't even bother trying to use the batteries. Maybe they would be ok in some devices, but not the cameras. I recommend spending the extra money and getting the Duracell 2650mah or the Energizer 1700mah. Both of those batteries last nearly for ever.

The charger works great...for about 7 months. I am on my second unit. Both functioned well for about 7 months and then completely quit functioning. The batteries have great life, charger worked great but then completely crapped out. First one was easy to get replaced but now I am out of warranty and out of luck. Can't recommend.
